Pressurisation of System Filling
When we talk about pressurisation in our HVAC system we are really covering three separate aspects:
• An introduction of the initial charge of system water. Filling the system and preventing backflow to the mains.
• Subsequent “topping up” of the system water. From our CAT5 cistern in the pressurisation unit
• Absorption of volumetric expansion within the system pipework and applications.
This is all set out in BS7074 parts 1,2 and 3
