Plate Heat Exchangers: Principles & Applications Our course gives an understanding of the principles of plate heat exchangers and there uses in domestic water heating applications. We examine the principles of heat transfer, and the effects certain variables have on the efficiency of the different types of plate heat exchanger. The course covers the correct sizing of Plate Heat Exchangers, the benefits of Packaged Plate Heat Exchangers for DHW Generation and the advantages of Instantaneous Systems and Semi Instantaneous Systems.
