M&E Project Manager
Position: M&E Building Services Project Manager Hourly Rate: Intermediate: £30-£35 per hour Senior: £40-£45 per hour Contract Type: Outside IR35 (LTD Company) About Us: We are a leading M&E contractor working with Manchester Airport Group, a prominent UK airport operator managing Manchester, London Stansted, and East Midlands airports. Our client is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to enhance the passenger experience. Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced M&E Building Services Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering a range of building services projects within the airport facilities for our end client, Manchester Airport Group. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of airport infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of M&E building services projects. Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure project milestones are met. Conduct regular project reviews and report on progress to senior management. Requirements: Proven experience in managing M&E building services projects. Strong knowledge of building services engineering principles and practices. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field. Senior Engineer
Your new company Your new company has over 75 years of engineering experience and is a household name in the world of engineering design and has city centre offices across the UK, Europe and Australia. Their Manchester office (M2 postcode) is located next to public transport hubs and close to off-street car parking. Your new company is currently working on a shed load of commercial, education, health and residential schemes across the UK. Although you'll be joining a company that turns over £130m, the MEP team in Manchester is moderately sized with 8 staff across M&E who work 37.5 hours per week across the above-mentioned sectors. Your new role Your new role will see you working as a Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer, completing conceptual and detailed design using DIALux, RELux, AMtech, AutoCAD or Revit. You will be based in Manchester city centre. However, your projects will be across the UK. You will be interacting with internal and external stakeholders, attending client meetings and site visits. This role, although involving a heavy design aspect, is for someone who enjoys the full process of consultancy: design, client-facing, stakeholder management, and costing. What you'll need to succeed To succeed with an application in this role, you will have a minimum of 3 years' UK Building Services design experience and full UK working rights with the ability to obtain Security Clearance. The team meet at the offices 5 days per week, so the ability to travel to Manchester City Centre is a must. You will also possess a full UK-valid driving licence. What you'll get in return In return, you will receive a highly competitive salary, 26 days' leave + BH with the ability to buy 5 more days. This role is open to a range of engineering experience with the salary varying from £47,000 to £55,000 DoE.
