Response and Repairs Planner/Co-ordinator

Job Title: Responsive Repairs Co-ordinator/Planner Location: Exeter (Free Parking on site) Reports To: Planning Manager Job Purpose: The Responsive Repairs Co-ordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating all responsive repair activities within the housing association. This role ensures that repair requests from tenants are handled efficiently and effectively, maintaining high standards of service and tenant satisfaction. The successful candidate will be confident in liaising with a number of internal stakeholders, handling requests from tenants and liaising closely with the correct team members to ensure a positive outcome is reached in the desired timeframe. Key Responsibilities: Receive and Process Repair Requests: Log and prioritise repair requests from tenants, ensuring accurate and timely entry into the system. Schedule and Coordinate Repairs: Assign repair tasks to appropriate contractors or in-house maintenance teams, ensuring timely completion of work. Monitor Progress: Track the status of ongoing repairs, ensuring that deadlines are met, and any issues are promptly addressed. Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with tenants, contractors, and internal teams regarding repair status and any potential delays. Quality Control: Conduct follow-up inspections to ensure repairs are completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety regulations. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all repair activities, including costs, materials used, and time taken. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on repair activities, highlighting any trends or recurring issues that may require attention. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to tenants, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. Qualifications and Skills: Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within a housing association or property management environment. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of building maintenance and repair processes. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently. IT Skills: Proficiency in using repair management software and other relevant IT systems. Customer Focus: Commitment to providing high-quality service and maintaining tenant satisfaction. Working Conditions: Hours: 39 per week Location: Exeter Thursday and Friday from home Salary: £26,565 (pro rata for 6 months) however a full-time position is highly likely. Interim Gas Manager

Your new company Based in south London and considered one of the most improved boroughs, this council has a wide range of housing stock that is managed and overseen by a team of property subject-matter experts supported by a great compliance team and corporate health and safety team. You will be based a 7-minute walk from a main train station with links to London and the south coast. Your new role You will act as the responsible person for gas-related works and oversee the gas contract to ensure that all statutory requirements are met and that council standards are also adhered too.
