Mechanical Design Engineer

They have a permanent vacancy for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer based within their Nottingham office.Your new role As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will provide technical support and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team consisting of Building Services Designers, Revit Technicians, Building Physicists, and Document Controllers. You will be involved in a wide range of projects across various market sectors, delivering services from feasibility through to detailed and fully coordinated design for installation purposes (RIBA stages 0 to 5).What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need: A degree or HNC/D in a relevant subject or equivalent. Professional membership (desirable). Proficiency with relevant industry design software. Good time management and organizational skills with a flexible attitude. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience in delivering coordinated designs alongside colleagues from other disciplines. Up-to-date knowledge of current industry regulatory and design standards. Skills in supervising and mentoring junior engineering staff and apprentices.
