Job Description: Role Overview: As an Energy Assessor, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients achieve their sustainability and energy efficiency goals. Professional certification as an Energy Assessor or equivalent (e.g., CEM, LEED AP) is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in conducting energy assessments and audits. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in energy modelling software. Excellent communication and presentation skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Your new companyIs a well-known international design consultancy competing for some of the biggest projects in the market. Your new roleIt is as a Senior/ Principal Electrical Engineer that can carry out engineering design, the management of projects and small teams, working on multiple projects including multi-million pound schemes. You will support the directors by developing standards within the company, taking the lead in managing projects utilising your experience. You will act as design lead on projects, promoting design excellence, and you will mentor and develop the skills of the engineers in the team. What you'll need to succeedYou will have a strong technical core competence and background in project delivery. In addition, you will have a broad understanding of the principles of building services and other related building design disciplines and a desire to mentor and lead a team of Engineers.You must also be- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering/Building Services. Proven experience (6+ years) in electrical engineering design within the building services industry. Experience leading and developing senior and more junior engineers. Comfortable in a client-facing role and willing to contribute to business development activities. Experience leading teams on large-scale and often complex projects. Experience in the delivery of all phases of a project from inception to completion, but specifically, design and quality control focused and dealing directly with the customer and project teams. Experience and awareness of major digital engineering tools, such as CAD/Revit, and Amtech. You will also have experience of delivering projects in a BIM environment. Your new role You will work on a range of large-scale projects predominantly across the Institutional Residential and Industrial sectors in the UK and EU. This is a critical project and technical leadership role which will see you managing a small team of engineers and technicians and driving outstanding commercial engineering and sustainability outcomes on a range of high value projects. Preparing fee bids and presentations for new work. Communicating directly with customers, project teams and outsourced delivery teams. Develop relationships with new and existing customers.
