Associate Electrical MEP Engineer

Your new company Your new company is working on some of the most complex MEP designs in the UK and are very proud of their technical ability and the quality of services they deliver for their designs, working on RIBA 2-4 and consulting through 5-7. The office is located in either Manchester or Leeds however, you can be flexible with how often you attend the office, so if you don't live close to Manchester or Leeds, then please still apply. Projects range from £50m - £600m Your new role In your new role, you will be working as an Associate Electrical Engineer on highly complex and technical MoD projects, including Shooting Ranges, Bespoke Training Facilities, UK Defence Facilities and DEOP (Defence Estates Optimise Programme). As well as MoD, you will be working on highly detailed labs, including Public Health England and Defence labs with both clean rooms and Cat 4 Labs. This role will be highly technical and requires the right candidate to be skilled in conceptual and detailed design. Technical Services Consultant (Building Services)

Your new company This practice started back in 2019 when a number of Directors from other leading Engineering consultants set up with the aim of delivering great customer service to a loyal client base. They have grown steadily, even with Covid in the middle, to a team of almost 20 Engineers and support staff. They complete the full design process as well as a consulting arm to deliver the technical know-how for their clients' existing operational portfolios. Your new role This senior level role sits within the Technical Consulting team delivering services for their clients. These services include Asset management surveys, Compliance Management, Capital works, Life Cycle projects, Dilapidation reports, Maintenance auditing and Due diligence reporting. These sites will be primarily around London but could include some travel around the UK. What you'll need to succeed Ideally from a similar consulting background or technical discipline. You must be customer facing and prepared to explain in detail with a building occupier all aspects of the Building Services plant. Training will be provided for certain services, so a can-do attitude is needed to really throw yourself into this role. A technical qualification will be required in a Building Services discipline and a strong knowledge of operational facilities.
