As an ambitious, Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will already know how to design and manage projects and build rapport quickly with a project team. Essentially, a client-side role that will give you direct access to clients, working on the client’s behalf as part of the client team as the client’s representative. You’ll deepen your understanding of Electrical Design by working client-side in commercial property sector and access to this experience will set you apart from your peers in Design Consultancy. With an established team of experienced M&E Engineers, from which to continue your leaning and development. There is structured training to CEng and a clear route to progress within the team. An in-depth knowledge of Building Services practices, procedures, and standards with particular focus on full Electrical Buildings Services Design and Project Management. A passion for decarbonisation and design of Net Zero systems. Knowledge of the BIM process and the built environment would be advantageous. The ability to work as part of a team or autonomously, with excellent team skills and strong attention to detail. You will be supported in delivering and leading projects where MEP is crucial to the success of the project and enjoy knowing that your designs are helping future-proof low energy buildings for future generations. You will be expected to design, manage, and supervise projects co-ordinating with other engineering and real estate disciplines. Carry out detailed design in accordance with industry guides. Prepare specifications, reports, design drawings and budget costs to programme. Supervise project works on site, workmanship and testing. You will also learn how to undertake professional M&E Technical Due Diligence surveys, dilapidations, and audits/reports.
