Your New Role Develop and design electrical systems for various building types, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Produce detailed design packages, including schematics, layouts, and specifications for electrical systems such as lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and security systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical designs with other building services. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of electrical installations. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members. Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design processes. What You'll Need to Succeed Proven experience in electrical design engineering, preferably within the building services sector. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools. Strong understanding of electrical design principles, standards, and regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
