Senior Mechanical Estimator

Your new role As a Senior Mechanical Estimator, you will take on a leadership role in preparing accurate cost estimates for complex mechanical projects. You will review and analyse project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to ensure competitive and profitable bids. You will collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to understand project scope and requirements, and prepare detailed estimates using specialised software. Additionally, you will identify potential financial or operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. You will also mentor junior estimators and provide guidance to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the estimation process. What you'll need to succeed Extensive experience in the Building Services industry, particularly in roles such as Mechanical Design Engineering. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Proficiency in estimation software and tools. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
