Talent Motion is working on a unique opportunity in the market to source an experienced BMS Engineer to join an Engineering Services team within a leading global Property Consultancy. As a fully established Property Management company work is leveraged internally from its current client base across their portfolios, offering a huge scope for future business, on top of a large base of established BMS work across Design & Projects and Asset Engineering (Surveying/Reporting/Client Advisory). Resulting in their ability to offer unparalleled job security.  Working within the Engineering Design and Projects division of the business, the person undertaking the role would have expertise in Building Automation, Controls Systems and Smart Buildings. What you’ll be doing: Provide input on design strategy and conceptual designs. Undertake design calculations. Design installations to meet all existing, relevant British Standards, Building Regulations and other relevant standards. Design installations to meet requirements for energy efficiency and low carbon requirements. Work as part of a team to meet project brief and programme requirements. Provide assistance and support to other members of the engineering team within the office. Undertake constructive peer reviews of other design projects. Commit to supporting strategic sustainability policies and their internal environmental programme objectives. Learn about sustainable low energy initiatives and to share this with other members of your team and wider within the Partnership. A “hands on” approach is required, this person will need a “cradle to grave” mindset to project delivery. What you’ll need: Experience in designing, supervising, and delivering projects within the BMS industry. Your experience will include delivering quality to clients and providing innovative solutions utilising your knowledge and experience. Maintenance Officer (Water Hygiene)

Your new company Hays Belfast are working in partnership with one of Northern Ireland's largest housing associations in their search for a Maintenance Officer (Water Hygiene). This organisation provides care and support to over 30,000 homes across Northern Ireland along with a development programme to deliver high quality sustainable homes. Your new role This is a permanent job based in Holywood, Co. Down where you will report to the Building Safety Manager and have the responsibility to oversee and co-ordinate the water-hygiene service across; response, planned, servicing, cyclical maintenance, and adaptations to and the refurbishment of existing properties. Some of the key duties include: Oversee and co-ordinate the water hygiene servicing programme for all Radius buildings. (Legionella Risk Assessments, Planned & Response Maintenance & remedial works etc). Undertake site inspections to check on the quality and service of works. Lead on the Water Hygiene weekly compliance data and incorporate into the Compliance Report. Complete pre, post, estate and void property inspections and issue works orders. Check and authorise invoices for work undertaken, controlling and managing costs. Monitor and report on expenditure against budgeted amounts as directed. What you'll need to succeed To be eligible for this position you must meet the following criteria: Level five qualification (e.g., HND) or above in a related discipline such as, Estate Management, Building Surveying, Construction, Engineering with 18 months' relevant experience within a construction or maintenance environment. OR Five years' relevant experience (within the last 8 years) within a construction or maintenance environment. AND Experience of delivering water hygiene services in line The HSENI Approved Code of Practice: Legionnaires' disease: The control of Legionella bacteria in water systems (L8). Full UK driving licence with access to a suitable form of transport.
