Due to growth, they are now looking for an additional Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for their London studio. Someone that enjoys HVAC design and enjoys producing unique solutions on every project. Someone who enjoys leading projects from concept through detail; and using cutting edge engineering software to analyse how buildings actually perform in use. You'll be involved in new build and refurbishment projects across the education, entertainment, commercial, leisure, cultural, mixed use, and luxury residential sectors. All the Directors remain hands on and allow their Seniors to get involved in resourcing, fee bids, marketing, and the tendering process. This role is likely to appeal to a Senior Mechanical Engineer looking for more autonomy, clear progression, and support to become a CEng. Requirements Degree qualified in Mechanical, Building Services, Environmental Design or Architectural Engineering. Good all-round knowledge of mechanical, electrical, public health, lighting and BMS. Digitally savvy with a range of tools such as Revit MEP, IESVe and Navisworks. Passion for low or zero carbon building services design.

Electrical Design Engineer
Electrical Design Engineer - To £40K + Progression, support, interesting projects and a 35hour week. Established in Scotland, this medium sized multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy offers support, diverse projects, clear progression and a very enjoyable working environment. Based in the heart of Edinburgh, just a short walk from either Edinburgh Haymarket or Waverley stations; their office environment is unique. Partners and Directors share the same space as the engineers; and it really is a one team mentality. Their Electrical Building Services team is led by a supportive, friendly, and hands-on Director with over 10 years at the practice. Always approachable and ready to help, they also empower you with the freedom to use your own initiative and drive projects forward. With around 30 MEP Design Engineers in their Edinburgh office, you'll also have easy access to Principals, Seniors and Engineers. Plus, you'll also have a Graduate or a Junior to also assist you with calculations and drawings etc. You'll be involved in a diverse range of projects such as distilleries, castles, universities and schools, industrial and cultural buildings. Complex and interesting projects that will challenge you. Not the boring copy and paste type projects but rather projects that require precision engineering, out of the box thinking and good coordination skills. You'll also be encouraged to develop your knowledge of HVAC, PH and Building Physics. Their policy has always been to train their M&E Engineers to be proper "Building Services Engineers" rather than just specialists in a single M or E discipline. As a business they remained focussed on innovation and precision engineering; and their projects usually set new standards in terms of quality, innovation or energy efficiency.
