Senior Mechanical Engineer - To £60K, every 2nd Friday off and WFH 3 days a week. As a key contributor to the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard, L.E.T.I and the Society of Digital Engineering (CIBSE), this Building Services Consultancy is one of the true pioneers of green building design. Due to growth, they are now looking for a client facing, Senior Mechanical with previous Residential, Hotel or Resort project experience for their London studio. They also carry out post-occupancy evaluations which allows their engineers to understand how buildings operate in reality, rather than how they were predicted to operate in IES models. M&E Quantity Surveyor - Intermediate to Senior
Your new company A well established M&E Building Services Contractor operating over 14 years is looking for either an intermediate or senior quantity surveyor. Senior Electrical Engineer

Your new role As an Electrical Design Engineer or Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will: Lead and manage electrical design projects across sectors such as residential, education, commercial, MoJ, and laboratories. Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers to ensure cohesive project delivery. Prepare fee proposals, engage with clients, and represent the company in meetings. Oversee team workload and ensure efficient deadline management. Provide guidance and leadership to junior engineers and graduates, fostering a collaborative work environment. Develop electrical services designs through all RIBA stages, ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act and Building Gateways. Attend site visits, offer technical advice, and maintain client relationships. Work on a range of projects, from small to medium-sized schemes to larger residential and commercial developments. What you'll need to succeed A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.3-4 years of experience in electrical design engineering (5-6 years for a senior role). Proven track record in electrical design within the building services sector. Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience with design software such as RELUX, Electrical OM, and REVIT (MagiCAD familiarity is a plus). Project management skills, including coordination with internal teams and clients. Leadership abilities to mentor junior engineers and oversee project delivery. Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Reporting to one of London's recognised thought leaders in Sustainability and Building Performance Engineering, you'll become a key member of their Sustainability team. With previous experience in One Click LCA, a keen interest in materials and Whole Life-Cycle Carbon Assessments you'll ensure that all projects meet the GLA London Plan, Zero Carbon Policy. You'll use your understanding of Sustainability, Building Services and Renewables to ensure all projects this consultancy undertakes, strive for greater building performance, not just for compliance.
