Fire Risk Assessor / Consultant - Oxfordshire

Your new company We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join a local authority housing team on an initial interim basis, which will lead to longer-term opportunities. This role requires a holistic approach to building and fire safety across the housing stock of 8,000. Your new role Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments across a variety of properties. Review existing fire risk assessments to check that they are fit for purpose. Provide expert advice and guidance on fire safety matters to staff and stakeholders accordingly. Collaborate with other departments and external agencies to enhance fire safety practices. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate proven experience as a fire risk assessor, preferably working client-side for a local authority, or for a housing association. Detailed knowledge of fire safety regulations and best practice will be required in this role, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. An FRA qualification at level 3, 4 or 5 will be required.
