Revit Technician
Your new company We are recruiting on behalf of a leading privately owned Building Services Consultancy for a permanent Revit Technician position based in Nottingham. This company is renowned for its innovative approach and commitment to excellence in the building services industry.Your new role In this role, you will provide technical support, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team that includes Building Services Designers, Building Physicists, and Document Controllers. You will work on a variety of projects across multiple market sectors, delivering services from feasibility through to detailed and fully coordinated design for installation purposes, covering RIBA stages 0 to 5. Key responsibilities include: Collaborating with Building Service Engineers to produce coordinated drawings Delivering projects as part of a multidisciplinary team Coordinating Building Services using REVIT MEP Creating and amending MEP Families, Objects, Tags, and Annotations Developing legends, schedules, and templates Modifying drawings in both Revit MEP & AutoCAD Meeting project requirements within specified time frames Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current industry regulations and design standards Providing guidance to junior staff and apprentices Adhering to BIM Protocols Liaising professionally with clients, professional teams, contractors, and staff at all levels What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you should be proficient in Revit MEP CAD/AutoCAD packages and associated software. Ideally, you will have a background in the MEP industry or experience in a similar role. Principal Mechanical Engineer
Principal Mechanical Engineer - To £75K + Package + bonus + complex projects Based in Milton Keynes, this MEP Design Consultancy is continuing to drive innovation and change within the built environment. As a pioneer in close temperature-controlled environments, their HVAC design engineers specialise in designing complex systems to maintain specific temperatures, humidity, air quality and air velocity. Due to growth, they are now looking for an experienced Principal Mechanical Design Engineer with a background in building services design, to lead a rage of both new build and refurbishment projects such as warehouses, manufacturing facilities, indoor farms and complex distribution centres. You'll be responsible for concept design, detailed design, plant room services design, associated controls; ensuring the projects meet British Standards and CIBSE best practices. You'll review drawings, specifications and schematics and advise how to improve the energy and sustainability aspects of projects, always promoting Low or Zero Carbon Technologies (LZCT).
