Job Title: Stock Condition Surveyor Location: Cheltenham Salary: Up to £300 per day Contract Type: Temporary/Contract Job Overview: We are seeking two experienced Stock Condition Surveyors to join our team in Cheltenham. The successful candidates will be responsible for surveying 5000 homes within the city to assess their condition and provide detailed reports. This role is crucial in helping us maintain and improve the quality of housing in Cheltenham. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive surveys of 5000 homes in Cheltenham. Assess the condition of various building elements including structure, roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, and more. Identify and document any defects, maintenance issues, and potential health and safety hazards. Provide detailed and accurate reports on the condition of each property. Use specialised software and tools to record survey data. Liaise with property owners and tenants to arrange survey appointments. Ensure all surveys are completed within the specified timeframe. Requirements: Proven experience as a Stock Condition Surveyor or similar role. Strong knowledge of building construction and maintenance. Excellent attention to detail and observational skills. Ability to produce clear and concise reports. Proficiency in using survey software and tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Intermediate Mechanical Engineer - Up to £50K + Package As an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll work closely with the M&E Director, a recognised expert in designing low-energy buildings. Principal/Associate Mechanical Engineer (Global Consultancy)

Your new role In this role you will lead and deliver multiple medium to large-scale projects, encompassing all facets of design within mechanical engineering consultancy services. You will be responsible for; undertaking calculations, production of drawings, producing specifications and reports, conducting site surveys, conducting construction stage duties, providing client liaison, consulting with members of design/construction teams and any other relevant duties required to comply with project briefs. Production and review of detailed design calculations for all aspects of mechanical design Production of specifications and plant schedules Production of design notes, basis of design and RIBA stage reports showing compliance with standards and best practice Production of design drawings from conception through to detailed design Conducting detailed site surveys and inspection of installations Mentoring and guidance of junior to intermediate engineers Input into fee estimates and bid process Support directors with resource planning and managing team workload What you'll need to succeed Educated in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or another relevant field Chartered Engineer or willing to work towards Strong project management skills in delivering building services projects from concept through to handover Excellent communication and client-facing skills with the confidence to manage varying client situations Ability to develop relationships with new and existing clients Understanding of commercial project management and cost control Ambition and drive to lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians High level of knowledge and experience of Mechanical Engineering and low carbon design with a key understanding of other disciplines Experience and knowledge of using Revit and Navisworks software.
