Founded over 30 years ago, this national Building Services Consultancy provides a turnkey service to clients. They do far more than just concept and detail design. Their MEP Engineer also gets involved in dilapidation and condition surveys, expert witness, HV design, and the testing and commissioning of MEP services. Their project portfolio includes data centers, commercial offices, residential developments, schools, universities, and hospitals. Due to growth, they are looking for a competent, reliable Electrical Design Engineer for their London office based near Liverpool Street station. Someone who can design, manage, and deliver a project with limited supervision. An Electrical Design Engineer who can produce reports and technical specifications and can use Revit MEP. Someone who is just as comfortable on-site overseeing and approving the quality of the electrical installations as they are dealing with an architect at the beginning of a project. Rather than only getting involved in Electrical design, here you will also develop your skills in HVAC. Based out of their HQ in the heart of Central London, they now employ over 600 staff across the business. Due to growth, they are now seeking a Junior Mechanical Estimator to join their team. THE ROLE – JUNIOR MECHANICAL ESTIMATOR We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Mechanical Estimator to support our growing team. This entry-level role focuses on assisting with cost estimation for mechanical systems including HVAC, industrial. The ideal candidate has a background in mechanical engineering or building services and a keen eye for detail, with a desire to build a long-term career in mechanical estimating. Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparing cost proposals for mechanical systems (HVAC, BMS, Electrical, CAT A, Central plant replacement (Chiller, Boilers) Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and tender documents. Support Associate Director Head of Projects in developing detailed scope of work and pricing breakdowns. Review and analyse quotations from subcontractors and Suppliers Participate in site visits, pre-bid meetings, and client walkthroughs when necessary. Work with consultants and our project management teams to ensure technical and budgetary accuracy.
