Your new role As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for electrical projects. You will ensure that all bids are submitted on time and in compliance with client requirements. Key responsibilities include analysing project specifications, collaborating with project managers and engineers, identifying cost factors, preparing detailed cost breakdowns, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction or MEP industry. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components, excellent analytical and mathematical skills, proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite, and strong communication and negotiation skills are essential. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with attention to detail and strong organisational skills. As a Principal or Associate Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering designs for a range of project types and sizes. In this key and varied role, you can expect to: Be responsible for the day-to-day technical delivery of the electrical design services for multi-disciplinary projects across a number of building sectors. Interact regularly with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a communicative, collaborative and timely approach to delivery. BIM Coordinator

Heating Inspector (Craigavon) NIHE

Your new company Hays are sourcing for an immediately available domestic heating specialist for our client, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive based in Ballymena.The NIHE are the largest affordable housing body in Northern Ireland with c.90,000 homes across the country. They require a Gas or Oil Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join them on a temporary basis initially for 6 months subject to further extension. Your new role Undertake inspections of the organisation's gas & oil heating installations, inspection of quality and workmanship of Gas and Oil heating installations in properties across the organisation's North Region. Inspection of external contractor service works on Gas and Oil heating systems in properties within the North Region. Inspection and completion of relevant documentation in relation to gas and oil installations and services. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this position you must be experienced or qualified in domestic plumbing and heating. Preference may be given to candidates who are Gas Safe: CCN1 OR OFTEC 101,105 and 600 qualified. Alternatively, candidates with a Mechanical or Building Services Degree qualification and 2 years relevant experience OR an HND/C with 3 years relevant experience will be considered. You must have a full UK Driving licence with access to a vehicle. What you'll get in return Salary range, up to £35,235. You will get the opportunity to work for a large Housing Body on an ongoing temporary contract. This position offers an immediate start with weekly payment via BACS transfer with all business mileage expenses being reimbursed at 45p per mile. The role allows for an excellent work-life balance with the working hours amounting to 37 per week along with an annual holiday entitlement of 35 days, inclusive of stats.
