Your new role You will be joining the team as Lead ElectricalEngineer, at the forefront of the Electrical team, and reporting to theEngineering Manager. Create and verify EC&I documentation - Specifications/Schedules - Reports and Plans - Detailed installation drawings Review and check vendor document / information for compliance with project specifications. Provide strong technical support and identify innovative and robust solutions. Maintain personal expertise and knowledge to ensure that the business stream is at the forefront of the industry both technically and in using the latest technologies and standards. Mentoring and training younger engineers within the team. What you'll need to succeed Degree qualified or higher in Electrical Engineering or relevant. Chartered engineer or working towards membership. Ability to manage and deliver electrical engineering designs across a range infrastructure projects. Experienced in project lead and delivery of electrical services across multiple projects Conducting any or all stages of electrical design from concept to completion as required. Experience in a range of digital tools including Amtech, MS Office, etc. Able to take charge of project deliverables, make decisions on developing the discipline design elements, act on own initiative and operate in a pro-active way. Strong report writing skills. Experience of producing and supporting fee estimates and bid writing would be beneficial. Experience in managing and mentoring junior to intermediate engineers. Clear focus on collaboration and building relationships with other designers and Project teams to deliver cost effective and acceptable design solutions Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and write clearly and succinctly Promote innovation and continuous improvement in design. Detailed knowledge of codes of practice and other regulatory material. Senior Electrical Design Engineer - To £65K + bonus + package + progression + purpose. A unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join an international MEP Design and Sustainability Consultancy based in London. Established over a decade ago, they are widely regarded as a leader in ESD / Green Building Design and launched a new London office in 2024, which has been a phenomenal success so far. Working with (i.e., not just working for) their Electrical Director, you'll be responsible for leading meetings, leading projects, and also assisting with fee bids and resource planning. You will be fully supported in the role, but not micromanaged. You'll see projects through from feasibility and design all the way through to construction and post occupancy. This role will appeal to a Senior Electrical Engineer who enjoys autonomy and wants to have a huge influence over the future direction and success of the Electrical team. As you develop your own network and contacts (realistically over the next 6-12 months), you'll develop your own reputation and relationships with architects, contractors, managing agents, and end users. Senior Mechanical Engineer

The Role: They are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role focuses on the refurbishment, upgrade, and decarbonisation of existing buildings, and requires a practical, client-facing engineer who thrives in both technical and on-site environments. You’ll play a key role in the delivery of mechanical engineering services from feasibility through to detailed design and construction. What you’ll be doing: Lead mechanical engineering design for projects involving HVAC, domestic water services, and renewable energy systems in existing buildings. Conduct condition surveys, asset assessments, and lifecycle costing. Deliver decarbonisation analysis, energy audits, and retrofit strategy development. Produce technical reports, specifications, and feasibility studies. Undertake detailed engineering calculations to inform design and decision-making. Liaise with contractors, clients, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Fulfil Contract Administrator duties including managing valuations, contractor performance, and change control procedures. Apply knowledge of contract management, especially JCT contracts. Familiarity with maintenance contracts, including performance monitoring and lifecycle planning. Demonstrated experience writing and contributing to procurement documentation for public or private sector projects. Proficiency in writing technical reports, developing specifications, drawings, calculations and conducting feasibility studies. Extensive experience working within the social housing sector, as well as across a broad range of public sector environments, including educational facilities (e.g. schools and academies), healthcare buildings, and commercial properties. This includes a strong understanding of the specific challenges, compliance requirements, and stakeholder engagement needs associated with these settings—such as budgetary constraints, phased works in occupied premises, and alignment with government or local authority frameworks and funding criteria. Experience in asset data collection, including on-site surveys to identify and log mechanical and electrical systems, capturing equipment condition, operational status, and compliance with relevant standards to support lifecycle planning, maintenance strategies, and investment decisions. Knowledge of construction risks, including how to identify and manage them effectively across project stages. Experienced in reporting resource and financial information to Partners and senior management, ensuring visibility on project performance and forecasts. Knowledge: Thorough understanding of building services systems including HVAC, hot and cold water, and controls. Working knowledge of UK Building Regulations, CIBSE guides, BREEAM, and other sustainability frameworks. Experience with maintenance contract planning and service level agreements.
