This course examines and interprets the current Fire Legislation in the UK and explores its impact on employers and those in charge of premises. The implication of building regulations on fire precautions is examined. There is also a discussion of the fundamental pre-requisites for a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment.

Who Should Attend
This course gives an excellent overview over the current fire safety legislation and guidance. The course is designed for all those in charge of workplaces and fire safety within buildings, such as building managers, fire safety managers and wardens, health and safety managers; it is also useful for those involved in designing and refurbishing buildings and employers who are not familiar with the current fire legislation, as well as those working within fire safety management requiring a refresher course.
