The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers is the foremost authority on best practice for building services engineering around the world. In Australia and New Zealand it is with the dedicated support of the voluntary CIBSE ANZ committee members that the charitable objectives of the institution can be achieved.
Committee members are the heart of the organisation, driving the vision, ideas and initiatives to meet future challenges, organising a broad range of technical events to promote the intellectual welfare of the members in the region, as well as representing CIBSE on a number of boards and technical working groups as the authoritative voice of building services engineering.
The ANZ Regional committee is also responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the institution in Australia and New Zealand where members benefit from strengthening their networks across the industry through collaborations with CIBSE members and external institution representatives.
The best engineering solutions arise when problems are considered from diverse perspectives and experiences. For this reason, CIBSE is targeting diversified participation on its committees with 40% women, 40% men and 20% discretionary.
