Build2Perform Live 2019 programme to include sessions on automation, climate projections & wellbeing

The programme for the 2019 Build2Perform Live event has been announced. Now in its third year, Build2Perform Live is the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) flagship event, comprising an exhibition and multi-tracked seminar programme.

The event brings people together to learn about, discuss and collaborate on the current issues that are vital for delivering better building performance.

The free-to-attend event takes place at London’s Olympia on 26 and 27 November, and will host over 50 free-to attend sessions delivering high quality content from over 90 speakers. The event is a must for those who want to be at the forefront of delivering safe, sustainable, production and healthy buidlings.

This year a brand new, theme-driven approach programme has been created with a mix of detailed technical presentations, case studies, workshops and panel debates. Attendees will be able to take away solid information that they can act on, whatever their role in the life-cycle of a building.

Highlights of the programme include: decarbonising heating and cooling for a low carbon future; technologies of the ‘fourth industrial revolution’; competence in a post-Hackitt world; new climate projections; responsible retrofits; and what health and wellbeing mean in practice.

The programme will also feature the latest policy updates,  including Building Regulations and compliance responsibilities.

CIBSE has drawn on the vast network of building performance experts for the CPD accredited programme which will bring attendees engaging and interactive content focussing on industry relevant themes including: Climate impact; systems thinking and integration; digitalisation; health and well-being; modular and off-site construction; decarbonisation and storage; automation; retrofit and refurbishment; and competence and skills.

The two-day event also hosts an exhibition with over 70 exhibitors from major manufacturers and suppliers from the building services engineering sector.
