Lighting for building performance – CIBSE reveals exciting shortlist

For the first time in the Building Performance Awards, lighting for building performance is being recognised with a separate Award. The new category for 2015 was greeted with enthusiasm, and seven schemes from a range of building environments feature in the shortlist.
The winner will be judged on an holistic approach to improving building performance
Judged on innovation in design, technology and application as well as the appropriateness of the lighting design for the intended application, the following entries are in the spotlight:

Wm Morrissons, Thornbury, Bradford - Zumtobel Group (Thorn Lighting)
The winner will have demonstrated and have been judged on an holistic approach to improving building performance, including improvement over existing systems, energy efficiency, carbon saving, and proven occupant satisfaction.
