Emma is the Sustainability Manager at Lewisham Council where she leads on the Council’s response to the Climate Emergency and the development of heat networks across the borough. She is a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and the Energy Managers Association.
When working for Islington Council she co-developed the planning policy requiring a Green Performance Plan. She co-wrote the building performance strategy and coordinated the rollout across Max Fordham. Whilst at Octavia Housing she wrote the environmental strategy and successfully embedded it across the organisation.
Currently she is working to deliver Lewisham’s Climate Emergency Action Plan and developing a strategic heat network in the north of the borough to supply low carbon heat to Lewisham homes.
