Collaborative Working Partnership Award

Interested in sponsoring this category?

This award recognises examples of collaborative working that have delivered outstanding outcomes on one or more new build or refurbishment projects. It rewards integrated processes that deliver comfortable, sustainable, low carbon, energy efficient buildings that satisfy the needs of the organisations and people who use them.

The value of collaborative working and integrated teams has been demonstrated on many outstanding projects and previous winners of the Building Performance Awards. The government construction strategy and the ongoing work of the BIM Task Force provides a clear focus in public sector procurement on driving out waste, meeting or beating cost benchmarks and delivering comfortable, sustainable, low carbon, energy efficient buildings that satisfy the needs of the organisations and people who use them. Collaborative working and integrated processes such as Building Information Modelling will be in increasing demand to achieve the targets set out in the strategy.

Entries from clients who have engaged in collaborative projects are particularly welcome.

Who should enter

Architects, clients, consultants, facilities management, contractors, building services engineers, quantity surveyors, property owners, product manufacturers, system designers, software consultants, building occupiers.
