CIBSE thanks essential contribution of volunteers

CIBSE would like to acknowledge all those volunteers stepping down from their roles in committees across our Groups, Regions and Societies as we near the end of our AGM season, and thank them for their time and dedication.

Over the last couple of months, our Groups, Regions and Societies have all held AGMs, where hundreds of volunteers have been elected or re-elected to committee positions across the network. It also marks a time for many to stand down from positions that they have held for several years.

CIBSE’s volunteers are the backbone of the Institution and are fundamental to the activities of our 18 Special Interest Groups, 20 Regions and five Societies. We would like to acknowledge all the contributions of all those are stepping down from their roles.

A special mention must be made to Geoff Prudence, who stepped down as Chair of the Facilities Management Group, after 21 years in the post. His vital contributions during this time, including supporting the production CIBSE Guide M, have helped to further the development and best practice within facilities management. CIBSE extends a special thank you to Geoff for his dedication over the years.

We would like to thank all of those listed below who are stepping down from their roles, for their time and commitment to CIBSE, your tireless efforts and hard work are what drives our industry.
