Embodied carbon in building services: A calculation methodology for Australia and New Zealand provides detail of alternative assumptions to be made when using the CIBSE embodied carbon methodology to calculate the embodied carbon impact of building services equipment installed in Australia and New Zealand. This is not a standalone document, and cannot be applied without first understanding Embodied carbon in building services: A calculation methodology (TM65).
The creation of this document followed steps laid out in the companion publication Embodied carbon in building services: Using the TM65 methodology outside the UK (TM65LA).
The CIBSE embodied carbon methodology now includes several publications, digital tools, and free-to-all data-gathering forms. All of these can be accessed from www.cibse.org/tm65.
