Subscription Rates and Fees

Your 2017 CIBSE Subscription is now available to view and pay online.

For the latest subscription rates please download the files below: 

Please note all subscription fees run on an annual basis from 1st January to 31st December each year and are not prorated.

How to pay online

  • To make payment online please login to MyCIBSE.
  • Click on Make a Payment on the Profile page.
  • Select which 2017 subscriptions you wish to pay by putting a tick in the box next to each subscription. The total amount you will be paying will be displayed at the bottom.
  • Click Pay Now to enter your credit card details and confirm your payment.

Once payment has been processed an email will be sent to you.

Download a copy of your Receipt/s by clicking on My Transactions on the Profile page.  
 
Reminder: If you are logging into the new MyCIBSE for the first time since 28th July 2016 you will need to validate the e-mail CIBSE holds for you by clicking Register on the log-in page. You will just need to validate your email, please do not complete a Registration Form as this will create a duplicate record for you.

Please give your membership number as the transaction reference and email membershipsubs@cibse.org with your membership number, payment date, amount paid and include the bank remittance advice if available.
 
Cheque / Money Order / Bankers Draft
Cheques should be drawn on a UK bank account and made payable to CIBSE. Banker’s Drafts should also be made payable to CIBSE. Please write your membership number on the back of your cheque.
 
Direct Debit
A discounted annual subscription is available to members who opt to pay by Direct Debit in one instalment. Please note that members must hold a UK bank account to pay by Direct Debit.

To sign up to a Direct Debit please download and return the completed payments form to membershipsubs@cibse.org or post to Membership Subscriptions, CIBSE, 222 Balham High Road, SW12 9BS, UK.

FAQ’s

I can’t login to the CIBSE Website
Please visit www.cibse.org/mycibse and ensure that you have re-registered using the email address we have for you. This will be the same email address we contacted you on to notify your subscription is available to renew. Please click on Forgotten Password link if you have registered after 28th July and need to reset your password.
 
I have logged in but can’t see my subscription fees?
If you do not have any charges in the Make a Payment section of MyCIBSE you may have used a different email address, to what we hold on our records, and created a duplicate login. Please contact us by email membershipsubs@cibse.org or phone: +44(0)20 8772 3650 where we will be able to update/correct this for you. Please note the CIBSE offices will close on Friday 23rd December 2016 and reopen at 9am on Tuesday 3rd January 2017.
 
Where will I find the fees for 2017 Subscriptions?
You can view 2017 subscription fees at  the top of this page.

I need an invoice for my company to make payment.
Your invoice/s can be downloaded from MyCIBSE. Once logged in click on Make a Payment on the profile page and then click each invoice number where you will have the option to print the invoice. Please ensure you print the invoices for ALL the subscriptions/fees you wish to pay in 2017. 
 
Alternatively contact the membership team with your membership number, they can email the relevant invoices to you. Email: membershipsubs@cibse.org.

Can I apply for a reduced subscription?
If you have retired from full time employment, are currently out of work on maternity/paternity leave or earning less than £7,500, you can apply for a reduced membership subscription fee. Please download the Reduced Rate of Membership Form here and return the completed form to membershipsubs@cibse.org or post to Membership Subscriptions, CIBSE, 222 Balham High Road, SW12 9BS, UK.

The 2017 reduced subscription fee is £49.00 for members at all grades, plus any additional Engineering Council Registration reduced fee (if applicable). Please visit www.cibse.org/fees for all EC reduced fees.
 
I am due to upgrade my membership in 2017 do I need to pay my subscription now?
Yes, if you are planning to upgrade your membership please ensure all your subscription fees are fully paid before upgrading. Once your new membership grade is confirmed any fees that have already been paid will be deducted from the amount due at that time.
