Who should take this course

This is a course designed for those wishing to become Low Carbon Consultants and also those who want to gain certification as Low Carbon Energy Assessors able to produce Energy Performance Certificates, as being an LCC is a pre-requisite for being an EPC Assessor with CIBSE Certification.
Before booking a course please pay particular attention to the information regarding preparation and the levels of qualifications and experience required to pass the training.  The course is intensive and requires a high level of prior knowledge. Providing you pass the exam at the end of the course you can apply to join the LCC register.

If you are applying to be an EPC assessor through the APEL Route with CIBSE Certification, you will also need software training - all Low Carbon Energy Assessors (LCEAs) who wish to produce EPCs must demonstrate that they are competent in the use of an approved software tool to calculate the asset rating and produce the energy performance certificate and recommendations report for buildings...full details here.

Self assessment & preparation
